The last destination in Kerala was the small beach-side resort of Varkala. It is a really beautiful place and surprisingly doesn't appear to have the piles of rubbish and smells that are the usual features in most towns and villages. Our intention was to only stay for a few days but it soon turned into nearly two weeks of relaxation on the beach and eating the most amazing seafood every night.
