As we were starting to become completely lazy I managed to talk Rich, Craig and Simon into going white water rafting on the Urubamba river with a company called Peru Aquatrek. This was my first time rafting and I was feeling a little nervous at the prospect going on 3 and 4 grade rapids. Despite this we all met up at the office early in the morning and set off to the starting point two hours out of Cusco. When we got there we got kitted up into wetsuits and helmets and given a 10 minute safety talk. The rafting turned out to be brilliant fun, it wasn't scary at all and I even managed to talk Simon into swapping positions with me so I got to go in the front for a bit. Bring on grade 5!!!!
