In the belly of Delhi - 16th August

Our street

Woah.....Delhi, Delhi, Delhi. How can we possibly describe the place? After an 8 hour flight we arrived to a very muggy Delhi and were totally shell shocked! Our 'inexpensive and centrally located' hostel was on a street that to the uninitiated resembled a war zone. How naive we were!
24 hours later we were getting into the swing of things and realising the touts from the genuine locals, however, the heat was causing us major problems so we decided to get out and booked a flight to Srinagar in Kashmir....we were really going to a war zone this time!
