Easy flight to Kathmandu - Nepal, we are immediately taken to a travel agents where they sign us up for the Everest base camp trek. A 14-day trek reaching the dizzy heights of 5,500 feet should get rid of our wobbly bits! After three days of sitting in the domestic airport hoping that the weather may improve enough for us to fly to Lukla (supposedly the most dangerous airport in the world and only two weeks ago saw a terrible plane crash), we decide to get out of the city and head to Chitwan National Park for a bit of animal spotting.
